What does a girl have to do to get you to come to Pittsburgh, PA already? Our forefathers only built the steel that made the country fer goodness sakes.....

I am just joshing you, I have a pretty good idea as to what it would probably take to get SRL to Pittsburgh, and I don't know anyone with that much cash these days. But if you ever want to come, I would do everything in my power to help facillitate it. Even a small show like the one I saw in LA last Jan would be wonderful. Ask John Law, he's been here before. He knows how well I take care of my guests. (Maybe he was just blinded by the glory of our bridges. We do have more that any other city in America you know.)

someone should try to get us out there! the permits are a bigger deal to secure than the cost! mark's funded the last few shows himself. at a loss cause we cant sell tickets for the type of permits we can get.

What sort of permits are needed? I have friends on city council, I could probably sell the concept to them.

thats something that should be discussed offline! but basically get a variance (same kind of permits film crews need for the usual special fx)... if they are willing to get that, know what it is, and actually are ready to get the ball rolling then they should contact mark.

and i think if its on private property and the owners are willing to absorb risk have insurance or something, there may not be a need for such permits.
