we're about ready to load out for san jose so the shop is like a rubik's cube of machines swapping them in and out. so there's more space now to notice things. this is probably the worst place to be in an earthquake as the ceiling is packed with heavy things that might fall:

last used in the 80s i think for filming Bitter Message of Hopeless Grief. it used to have 2 clear orbs where eyes would be if you were to anthropomorphize this thing and inside the orbs were dead animals like eyeballs spinning around inside.

which is the only animal-operated machine at the shop. it was driven by Stu, Mark's dead guinea pig
